Words can not express how very pleased we were with the great education that our three boys got when attending St. Thomas School!  The boys received the best education and the experience more than exceeded our expectations!  The smaller class sizes and the great teaching staff not only provided a great learning environment but also gave them opportunities and experiences that they would not have been able to enjoy in a larger school setting.  When my boys moved on to the Madison Middle School, they left with a great academic/religious education, a love for school, wonderful, life-long memories, and a great confidence in themselves!  Sending our boys to St. Thomas School was one of the best decisions my husband and I have ever made!

Our son has been blessed to have caring teachers and staff, who go the extra mile to make education fun.  The small class size offers many opportunities for students to use their gifts and abilities individually. There is a nice variety of activities and personalized way of caring. Although we are not Catholic, the religion classes teach valuable things that are good for any student to learn. The school is very accommodating.

We do not belong to the Catholic Church, however both of our children have attended the St. Thomas preschool program.  They loved the school and their teachers--so did we.  We were impressed by how much they learned.  We liked how preschoolers were included in the grade school activities and used the school facilities and teachers, e.g. gym, music and library.  This experience made the prospect of kindergarten a lot less intimidating.

The academic instruction at St. Thomas is superb.  Our son has always received the additional ‘one on one’ attention he needed when struggling with a subject.  He has been treated with respect from both staff and administration and therefore learned to treat others respectfully.  He went from a shy unsure little boy to a confident happy young man with super hero possibilities.

Religious instruction was very compatible with our Episcopal faith.  He has grown morally and spiritually and now blends and accepts many faiths and religions.  Should he go on to bring people together and bridge gaps it will be largely due to his years at St. Thomas.

There is a tremendous opportunity for community and world wide involvement at the school.  Many projects are explained and the students get that down in your gut good feeling for helping.  I think this promotes life long volunteering and puts our good fortune as Americans in perspective.

My husband and I intended to send our son to St. Thomas for one year only.  Our son was shy and we thought because of the smaller class sizes it would be the perfect transition between pre-school and public school.  We watched him blossom and grow beyond what we had hoped.  Needless to say we kept him at St. Thomas.  We will always be thankful for the marvelous care the school has taken of our child and the opportunity he has had there.
